I am alive
I have not updated this blog on purpose. I have wanted to though. I have so many great things now but I have also had one reason why I don't updated...my exhusband. I have no idea if he even knows about this blog. I don't want him to know anything about my life other than what G & C may tell him. He is not a nice person, nor has he ever been. I would love to go into more detail but I won't/can't.
However, I can say the few great things is I have a fantastic husband, ANOTHER baby!, a great house we live in, and I get to stay home with her.

It's already OCTOBER!
Wow! It is already October! This year has FLOWN by! It's been one of the best years I have had in a very long time. So many fantastic things have happened in the last few months! I feel shy about sharing some because it's personal! (No I am not pregnant! lol) Just good stuff.
Gage started Kindergarten and is doing really well! He is really taking to art. He draws me pictures almost every day! He is so sweet. He tells me almost every day he loves me. He tells me he will never stop loving me! AWWWW!!
Chloe just turned 3 last week. THREE! She is full of life. She is such a beautiful little girl. She is sweet, sassy, and is such a charmer. She loves playing mommy. My dad got her a set of 8 Disney princesses for her birthday! She was in heaven.
Things are pretty good right now. I don't really have much to complain about!

Hello again
I guess it's been a while since I posted. Things have been going pretty smooth lately. Kids are doing great, & Gage starts kindergarten in 2 weeks! I have A KINDERGARTNER! Holy Crap!!
He is so excited! He is actually staying at the same school he is at. He will have 9 maybe 10 kids in his class. And he'll 'graduate' like he did for preschool. He is so smart & is over all a really sweet boy. He always says such sweet things to me. He told me yesterday he was going to miss me while he was at school. So sweet. I want to do all I can to make sure I raise him to be a sweet caring man. He was having some trouble dealing with some things. He would hit or kick me. I learned the best way to help him was to remind him how we behave before we go out. What we are getting, or just getting 1 or 2 things. What I expect from him at the store. He does so much better.
Chloe is still the same sassy little princess she always has been. She is much smarter at this age that Gage was at this age. She is potty trained. She regressed for a few weeks, but we are getting back on track with that. She moves to the 3 year old next week. So big girl class for her. She is technically the youngest, but she was in the 2 year olds before she was 2 last year. She has 2 boyfriends at school too. haha. She is so funny.
Here is a picture from today:
And me. Well nothing new in that department. Single, no dates. Which I am okay with. Longest I've been single since I was 17. Which is weird, because now I can't even remember what it was like to be in a relationship. Sure, I miss the companionship, but I am so busy right now with Running, school, & other things. So I don't know if I'd have time for a relationship. I know it will happen in God's time.
Their dad is dating a lady...she is um, a bit older, so yeah, kind of weird, but I did introduce myself to her. All she knows of me is what AJ has told her. So yeah, I am sure she has a great image of me. AJ doesn't even know I am today. I am the person I was before him. Inside & out.
Still working at the university. It's still pretty great. A few coworkers I don't like, & learning how to deal with their own insanity & keep my serenity is proving to be difficult. All in time though.
All is well. Thankful for my health, my kids, & the roof over our heads & food in our bellies. I know I don't say that enough, but I am. God provides for us each month...without fail.

Reality
I live in a new reality. My life in the last year is 180 degrees different. My heart was hurting, my tears were always flowing, I was someone I hated. I hated how I felt. I was so unhappy. I blame no one. I don't even blame myself anymore. Life is, what it is. I am not perfect. No one is, but I have become someone in the last year that I am proud of. I am stronger and happier than I have ever been. Am I always that way? HELL NO! I am sad at times, it's hard being alone. It's hard being a single mom. I didn't set out for this, but God brought me here. How can I be mad at God for bringing me to this place? I can not. I would be judging God's work, and unlike humans, God's work is perfect. God's timing is perfect.
God's will has been a constant battle for me. I do my best most days to follow his will. He has given and provided for me in ways I would have never thought even dreamed!
I look back at this time last year. It was close to my 4th wedding anniversary, AJ's birthday, and so much craziness and drama around our lives was a result of a choices we were given. I will not go into that, because I am not going to bad mouth him. Even though I don't want to respect him, I do. I respect him because he is my children's father. He will always be that. And as many times as he & his family disrespect me...I will stay strong and just stay grounded. They are not my new reality. They are my past. They will be in my children's future, but not mine. It's hard to be nice, and have good thoughts, but if in the least I can be classy and respectful to them, I will do that.
I am, with out a doubt, in a better place than I was before. I am single, not dating even. I have not been single this long since I was 17. God has a reason for this, I do not know it, obviously, but I know he will provide.
Gage and Chloe are my life. I miss them so much when they are with AJ but I get time to myself. They are awesome & smart. I could not ask for better children.
Point...life is good.

Where I am Today
I am divorced. It's been over a month since it was final. I don't have to deal with AJ at all except with the kids. It's been such a relief. There at the end things were so bad. My fog of him has been lifted & it's so night to have my own thoughts instead of his clouding my head. I hate to talk to negativly about him, but it was what it was. He needs a lot of help, and I honestly do pray that he gets help.
I know I was not perfect in the marriage, and I take full responsability for how I behaved. It was just toxic, and we did not need to be together anymore. Gage & Chloe did not need to be around our unhealthyness (is that a word?).
My life is million times better. I am running still. I did hurt myself so I did not get to run the 1/2 marathon I wanted to. I still went to support my class & I had a lot of fun being there with them. I have made some great friends around & it's really helped me get through the staleness of being single.
I am used to that now, being single. I have been on a few dates, but nothing serious. It's been almost a year since AJ and I separeted that I forget what it's like to have a partner. I have a new apartment from the one I started in. The kids have their own room, and the living room is not over flowing with toys!
Gage will start kindergarten in the fall! HOLY CRAP! He will either stay at the daycare - which has a kindergarten - or he'll go to a school by my work. He is a good kid. He does get upset when he knows he has to go to his dad's. It breaks my heart to see him upset. But I have a calendar for him, and it helps him visualize how many days until he comes back home.
Chloe is still sassy, and silly as ever. She is so smart. She chatters all the time. She is a charmer too. She still have this fabulous hop in her walk that I hope never ever goes away.
Life is good. Life is simple. I have so much to be thankful for.

LONG TIME NO POST
I know, I have been absent. It's been a very interesting 9 months. A lot has changed. A lot of change for the good, actually. I have been very hesitant to write at all, because of the things and who has access to this blog. I have nothing to hide though.
In March, AJ & I separated, and it was going to happen sooner or later. Our relationship had become very toxic & it was for the best that we have some time apart. I filed for divorce in April. Things are still pending.
In May, I found a small apartment for me and the kids. I had never been on my own, so I wasn't sure how I would or could afford my own place on my salary. I have been there ever since.
I have had a lot of ups & down, but my family & friends have been so increadably amazing. I can never repay them for what they have done. I have been apart from AJ for 8 months today, and let me tell you, my life is so much better. I am closer to my kids, my family, and most important God. I don't attend church often, but I have found God outside of church. Praying, and having the willingness has been the most important thing I have found. I have always had faith, but never put it to use. I have often wondered how I would get through the month with little to no money. God ALWAYS provides. Even at time when I am crying and have $5 in my bank account for 2 weeks and no gas in my car.
I hate that I have had a failed marriage, a second one, but at least I have my health & my kids. I do not lack for anything. I am not a failure as a person. I've been told to quit beating myself up over my past, and my bad decisions. It's okay, it will always be okay.
I am happy. I get lonely, but I am running again (ran 4.3 miles on Saturday), I am going back to school in the spring, and I have my meetings twice a week.
The kids are doing FANTASTIC, considering all they've been through. They are at a new school, and learning so much. They are tiny little spounges that keep learning and growing.
Gage turned 4 in August. He knows, days of the week, months of the year, all of his letters, sight reads, can spell, write all his letters, and is just becoming quite a little man. He is still quite attached to me, but he loves meeting new people and is still social.
Chloe, my little ham, is 2. She turned 2 in October. She is smart, smarter than Gage was at this age, funny, beautiful, and charms the pants off of everyone. She knows her ABC's, days of the week, a lot of sign language, thanks to yours truly. She loves pink & any kind of princess.
I wish I could think of more to write, but I'll leave it at that. :) Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I am ready for Christmas!!

New Job & Update
I keep forgetting to update, not that anyone reads. :P
I started my new job almost a month ago. It is going pretty well. I like the people and the job itself is relaxed but still interesting. I answer phones from students and they have the funniest questions or comments most days. I get a kick out of that.
Gage:
He has been challenging lately. He has been defiante and it has been really hard for me to get him under control. He is in the phase where everything is opposite of what you say. "You're dinner is not ready yet." "Yes it is." He wants me to snuggle with him at night. I do sometimes, but I feel if I do it every night he'll get used to it and I'll never sleep in my own bed.
Other than that he is a really fun kid. He is smart & loves Chloe...most of the time. He says the funniest things all the time too.
Chloe:
She is 15 months now and a ball of fun. She 'bee-bops' everywhere. That is what I call it. It's like she has a spring in her step. She is very sweet and has very wise eyes. She loves to snuggle and get this...she loves Daddy more than me. She went to him first yesterday, even though she saw me. I don't mind. I know it makes Adrean feel good. Gage never much cared for Adrean, so it's nice to have Chloe love him.
She is still nursing, a lot. :P Nights and weekends. We've been battling a mild stomach virus so she's upped her boo juice intake. She got it the worse and stayed home with Daddy last Friday.
Words she says:
Da - (daddy) --she says this the most. lol.
mama
ba (bite, ball, whatever context it applies to)
wa (walk)
boob
uh huh
no
bye bye
She does a lot of "ugh"ing.

I haven't been that great at taking pictures lately so I have no new ones. Hopefully I can get some up soon.

Christmas was awesome!
Gage had so much fun this year. He really believed Santa came and left him presents. We are on a limited budget so they each got one big gift and a few small things.
Gage received Hot Wheels & Chloe got her first Cabage Patch. Both loved them!
It snowed here on Christmas. The last time it snowed here was 80 some odd years ago. It's VERY RARE! But it was awesome!
Here are some pics to enjoy!
They are thrilled!

Almost Christmas
Chloe - she is starting to say words! LOVE IT! She says mamma, dadadadada, shoes, & teeth. She loves books, pretty bright toys, BABY DOLLS!, & boobie! She signs milk & book. She loves Gage & smiles each time she sees him after waking up.
She has also started voicing her wants. I tried to give her some cheerios yesterday and she squealed and pointed to the animal crackers. Ha. When did she get old enough for an opinion!?!?!
Gage - This kid is so funny. He says some of the funniest things. He usually makes people, besides me, laugh. So that counts as funny. He made the doctor & his teacher laugh. He loves school. He is the youngest in his class...being an August birthday, but is doing really well. He knows how to "read" his letters & numbers, even though he only does it for his teachers. He is very competative with the other boys so it helps him learn. I'm all for it. I am going to start him in BlastBall this spring. I think he'll have a lot of fun.
He is very strong willed, as usual. He does not listen and get to visit time out a lot because of it. It seems to not be working much, but when Daddy is home he doesn't like it when Daddy disciplines him.
He is getting very exciting for Christmas. He got into it some last year, but this year he is totally into it.
We got some snow last week. It only stuck for a few hours. Which in Texas is a HUGE deal! They loved to look out side at it.
The Christmas tree is up. I have ornaments about 1/2 way down because they would play with them all the time. haha.

Preschool

Gage started preschool last Tuesday. I decided it was time for him to spend time away from me. He has deaf ears to mommy. He still is not listening and can be mean, but he loves school. He gets to take his lunch which is really fun for him.
He goes twice a week, 9-2 and sleeps for a couple hours after that.
He was regressing a bit with potty training, but since going to school is back on track.

Chloe Girl is ONE!

Chloe is ONE! I forgot to post on her birthday but I'll do it today. She is such an awesome little girl. She is happy, smart, loving, feisty, and lots of other great things.
She has 6 teeth and one more is coming in.
Her stats at 1:
Ht: 30.5 in
Wt: 24.8 lbs
Head: 46 cm
She loves bounce houses. We went to a Pumpkin Patch last week and she LOVED the bounce house. She freaks when she sees one. I don't remember Gage loving them until recently. We were at a Trunk or Treat last night for my In-laws church and they had a bounce house. She kept going back to that. She kind of understood getting candy but she was most interested in going back to the bounce house.
She also loooovveess baby dolls. We call them babies. She holds them and pats their back to make them feel better. She received 2 for her birthday. She got some neat stuff for her birthday.
She has started *asking* for things more. She squeals when she wants something. The only thing she knows to sign is milk. So she does that a lot, hehe.
I started her on cloth diapers. I love them so far. I bought them from www.kellyscloset.com. The kind of bought were Smartipants.
We had her birthday last weekend. It was a lot of fun. It was at a park so all the kids enjoyed the great weather and cake!

2 weeks until Chloe is ONE!

It's hard to believe that Chloe will be one in a week! So crazy! She is a walking talking joy! I love her so much. She is a lot of fun to be around.
Her hair is really curly in the back. I adore it! Both AJ and I have curly hair so she got it from both of us. Her eyes are still blue and I am assuming they'll stay that way or go a bit green.
She has 5 teeth and a sixth coming in. We are still nursing and I am not sure when I'll wean her. :) Until next time.

September? Already?
Summer is over, and that means Gage turned 3 about a month ago. The 23rd of August. We had a Cars themed party and it was a lot of fun.
He is finally potty training. We have him staying dry all day, and poop, well that is still in progress. I sat back the other day a realized he is a big boy now. He loves watching youtube videos and playing with Chloe. He had his 3 year check up and was 39? in tall and 36lbs. He was right on track. He is doing great overall.
Chloe, little miss, is getting so big. She is 24.4lbs, not sure how tall. She has her 1 year (OMG WHERE DID THE TIME GO) on the 21st, her bday! She is having a LadyBug party. Should be fun!!
I am still at home with them. I did have an interview a couple of weeks ago but I didn't get it. I was disappointed because I felt like I could have done really well in the position. I think I am going to school in Jan. I am waiting to hear back to set an appt to see what I can do.
AJ and I are doing well. We've hit a few gliches, but we are really doing great right now. I added some new pics on the side! Enjoy!

Summer is almost over
Gage will be 3 in a few weeks. CRAZY. His birthday is Disney Cars theme. He loves that movie. He is so smart. He has so much energy and is quite the little chatter box.
Chloe is getting so big. Her 9 month check up she weighed 23.4lbs and was 29 inches long. All in the 90%!! Just like Gage. She is walking now. All the time. It's so crazy. Sometimes she looks like frankenstein. hehe. She'll be one soon. Her birthday is Ladybugs. I am really excited.
I am still at home with them. Ups and downs, but overall okay.
Having some family issues with my family, but AJ's family has been really great to me. I really am lucky to have them.
Nothing much else to report.

I guess I really suck at updating. Ever since I was laid off I like actually have to do stuff...like take care of my kids and clean my house.
Chloe: She is sitting up, pulling up, crawling, *talking*, fat, and definitely sassy. She is happy most of the time. She sleeps through the night...most of the time. The last time she was weighed she was 21.4lbs (100%) & 27 1/4 inches (80%). She found Gage's room so she goes in there to find new toys to play with. I started her on solids about a month back. I made her sweet potatoes, peas & avacados. She loves both. No teeth yet, but Gage didn't get any until 9.5 months so it might be a while before she does too.
Gage: He is a mess. He is stubburn, smart, talks all the time & can find his way any time he wants. I attempted potty training a few times, but he just isn't interested. I am hoping he will soon. I hate changing his poopy diapers. Bleh. He loves to swim and has gotten pretty good at it with floaties on. He loves Cars, the movie, and Kung Fu Panda. He found some figurines at my SIL's house and she let him have them. Gage had his first trip to Urgent Care. We installed new flooring and while at the store he ran off. Something fell on the corner of his face and he got 3 stitches. It's left a scar. He wasn't supposed to be with us, but I wont go into detail about that.
Me: I am okay. Up and down. Lonely a lot. My car has no A/C so it's hard to get out in the middle of the week when AJ has his car. He does powerball at lunch so he needs his car to take it with him. He rides his bike on M & F so I can do stuff if I need to those days.
We are going on vacation soon. CAN'T COME SOON ENOUGH. It will be fun. We are staying outside of Branson.
I will post a few pics! Enjoy:
The Blue Bonnett pics were taken by my friend Stefani. www.stefanimarcusphotography.com. If you are in DFW you should check her out. Good prices and will travel to most places around DFW.

Well another month has gone by. I suck at updating this. AJ had his birthday on the 22nd and we had our 3rd anniversary on the 17th. We didn't do much for either. I did get him a digital photoframe for his birthday so he could have it for work. He liked it.
Let's see. Chloe was finally rolling everywhere. She started a bit ago and loves to roll to her belly then push her body forward with her legs. Speaking of her legs, the are still so FAT! She had her 4 month check up (one month late) and she was 18.4lbs, 25 1/4 in long, and her head is 42 cm. 55% for length and head and 100% for her weight. Gotta love that breastmilk! She is getting a really cute personality. Very happy and easy going. She wakes about once or twice a night. She actually sleeps in her bed. Something Gage would NEVER do until he was at least a year. AJ is happy she is not cosleeping like Gage did. I do get her and bring her to bed about 4-5 and snuggle. So I still get my snuggle time with her.
Gage is becoming very head strong. He is a very smart boy, and that makes for a determined little boy. He throws a fit any time we go to the store because I wont let him run. If I did, I'd loose him and have a huge meltdown because I can't find him. He thinks it's a game. I sling Chloe or else I would never be able to keep up with him. So these days I just stay close to home. He is funny, he told me the other day when I had just gotten out of the shower that I "was going to poop on the floor". I said "Why? Because I don't have underwear on?" Uh huh! He came up to me and told me I was his friend and hugged me. Cute. After a meltdown he'll say "I not crying anymore mama." A couple weeks ago I told him if he was good at Target I'd let him go to the playground. Well he wasn't good, so I told him he "lost his privilage". The next day he was good at the store or where ever we went and I said "You were so good Gage. You were being a big boy." he answered "I not loose my pivlage. I wanna go playground!" LOL.
I am doing pretty good myself. Just doing the SAHM thing for now still. I have my ups and downs. I go to my SIL's house on Friday's and he loves it. He gets to play with his cousins and I get to do crafts. We are going to be in a craft fair this Saturday so we are making things for that.
One AWESOME thing I get to do tomorrow is see BRITNEY SPEARS IN CONCERT!! I am so excited I can barely stand it. I have loved Britney since she came out. Should be really fun!! Me and my friend are going!!!
Well here are some pics for ya:

Half way through February...
Well let's see. Things are going SO much better. I have the kids with me now, and have for almost 2 weeks. Gage is doing really well with me being home. He is a funny little guy. We are kind of in a routine and he is overall pretty good.
He is really into "matching" things. Everything that matching he just gets so excited about. There were two little hispanic boys that looked similar in age and had similar shirts on and he goes "mama, mama, two, two, they match, they match!". I'll read a book and he'll say "I gotta go get something." He'll go get another book with something that matches and scream "it matches". He went around Subway today telling the colors of each chair. He is so funny.
Little miss Chloe is laughing and smiling all the time. She is starting to get a personality. Things have to be just so, and if they aren't she'll tell ya. She is almost 16lbs right now. I love it. She is full of Chub. I'll attach some pictures below.

Sigh
Well things have not gone so well since being laid off. I don't know up from down, left from right. Nothing seems to be going right.
Babies are doing good though.
Chloe is 14.4lbs and 23 3/4 in long. She smiles all the time. She was trying to roll from her back to her front last night.
Mr. Gage is sick today, so he got to stay with mommy today. I had to keep the kids in daycare for 2 weeks since she requires a 2 week notice.
